The Laprise mechanical [pod] is a pre‑assembled module built in the factory that integrates the home’s mechanical systems (plumbing, electrical, ventilation) along with the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry area.

This approach shifts much of the work from the construction site to the factory, improving task sequencing and reducing on‑site labor.

The result: faster, more precise, and more economical construction—while maintaining quality, style, and durability.

Yes. The price includes transport within 300 km of our Montmagny factory. Beyond 300 km, transport fees are the buyer’s costs. In certain regions, special conditions may apply.

Yes. Prefabrication is inherently eco‑friendly.

Factory construction improves quality control, boosts productivity, and significantly reduces material waste. It also supports structured recycling and waste‑recovery programs.

H.O.M models are designed specifically for industrial production—much like the automotive industry—to:

With advanced manufacturing technologies, our process generates less than 2% waste, all fully recycled.

Finally, H.O.M homes are designed ans built here in Québec, using Québec lumber and 100% recyclable, eco‑responsible insulation and sealing systems.

All turnkey‑installed H.O.M homes are covered by the GCR Residential Construction Warranty (mandatory warranty program for new homes in Québec), offering protection for up to 5 years. In addition, all H.O.M homes include a 10‑year structural warranty.

For H.O.M homes built on a foundation, the pre-cut materials for the front porch and rear balcony are included. For homes built on concrete slab, these elements are not included. The side deck at the patio door is not included, whether the home is on a foundation or slab.

The porch and balcony, as specified in the plans and specifications of the chosen model, are supplied and installed by a Laprise Certified Contractors / Partners.

Any other porch, balcony, or terrace configuration can be discussed with your Laprise Certified Contractor. The design, choice of materials, and installation of these additional features are at the buyer’s expense.

The H.O.M Vivô 2.0 features two distinct façades to offer maximum flexibility depending on your lot and lifestyle.

Yes. H.O.M homes can be installed on a concrete slab, allowing you to enjoy 100% single‑level living with no stairs and no basement. This option maintains all the advantages of prefabrication: speed, quality, and durability.

A concrete foundation with basement is also available to maximize living space.
